Here's how we measure our feet to find out what size we wear!

Choosing footwear requires a lot of attention. The first thing you need to know is the size you need, and ill-fitting footwear can have negative effects on both the foot and the entire body. Not only are shoes that are too tight problematic, but also those that are a little too wide, which, through its play, will create a state of total discomfort.

The shoe should fit perfectly, without being too long or short. A well-made leather shoe will not give in length, but it will give in width by 3-5 mm. Our recommendation would be to choose the size you usually wear and specify in the comments section the number of centimeters of the sole after measuring according to the diagram below.

The number of centimeters is indicative, with slight differences depending on the foot shape.

To find out the correct foot size, you must follow these steps:

  1. Standing in a vertical position, barefoot, stepping on a sheet of paper with one foot and holding a pencil held vertically at a 90-degree angle to the sheet of paper, draw an outline around the sole of the foot, then use a tape measure, tape measure, or ruler to find out the length of the foot in centimeters.

Attention! Hold the pencil according to the drawing, drawing the line exactly where the sole touches the paper, because otherwise you may get 0.5 or even 1.0 number higher.

  1. The width of the foot (mount) is measured with one centimeter of the circumference of the foot (all around).

Size 34 35 36 37 38 39 40
Size in cm 22.5 23.2 24 24.7 25.3 26 26.8

  1. To make boots and ankle boots we need the following dimensions:

To remember: Our feet are not equal in both length and width (thickness). It is advisable to measure both feet, and the final measurement is that of the longer foot (if applicable). In the warmer period, it is not recommended to wear shoes with fur or textile lining, to avoid foot sweating, this is only recommended in the coldest period of the year. From our point of view, we recommend shoes with leather lining (which can be made of sheepskin, pig or goatskin), as this behaves best in warm and not very cool periods.
